Software Solutions for SMBs

Every SMB has the same few workflows that no product quite fits — so they live in spreadsheets, inboxes, and one employee’s heroic memory. We build the software those workflows actually need: internal tools, workflow automation, and customer-facing pieces, scoped tightly and built to be maintained by normal humans.

What You Get

Software shaped to the work, not the other way round.

The spreadsheet retires

The shadow systems your operation secretly runs on — trackers, calculators, approval chains — become real tools with validation, history, and backups.

Scoped to the pain

We build the workflow that’s costing you hours, not a platform for hypothetical futures. Small, finished, adopted beats large, impressive, shelved.

Adoption by design

Built with the people who’ll use it daily, demoed weekly on the real workflow. Tools people helped shape get used.

Maintainable on purpose

Conventional technology, documented decisions, no exotic dependencies — your next developer can pick it up without an archaeology degree.

Scope

What’s included.

  • Workflow discovery — the process as it actually runs, with the people who run it
  • Scoped Blueprint — free under Proof-First Build: what’s built, what’s deliberately not
  • Build in weekly demos — working software against the real workflow, every week
  • Integrations — with the systems the workflow touches (see Systems Integration)
  • Rollout & training — the team onboarded, the old spreadsheet formally retired
  • Support window — fixes and adjustments after launch, while usage settles
FAQ

Questions about this service.

Shouldn’t we just buy a SaaS product?
Often, yes — and the Blueprint says so when it’s true. Custom software earns its cost when the workflow is genuinely yours: your pricing logic, your approval chain, your regulatory quirk. If a product fits 90% of it, buy the product.
How do we avoid a tool nobody uses?
The people who’ll use it are in the weekly demos, and the pilot runs the real workflow with real data before full rollout. Adoption problems surface in week two, not after launch.
Who maintains it after you leave?
Your team or any competent developer — that’s a design requirement, not a hope. Documentation, conventional stack choices, and a handover walkthrough are part of the engagement.
Can it grow into a bigger system later?
If it’s designed to — modular where growth is likely, simple where it isn’t. We’ll flag which is which in the Blueprint, so today’s scope doesn’t paint you into a corner.

Start with a fit call.

Thirty minutes. Bring the problem as it actually is — the stalled pilot, the bill, the spreadsheet everyone quietly maintains. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right builder for it.

You leave with a straight answer on fit — and if it fits, a free Blueprint to follow.
