Knowledge Assistants

Every company has the same leak: knowledge trapped in documents, drives, and the heads of people who’ve ‘been here forever.’ Teams re-answer the same questions weekly, and new hires take months to learn what a document already says. A knowledge assistant closes the leak: ask in plain language, get the answer with its source.

What You Get

Your documents, answerable.

Answers with receipts

Every answer cites the document and section it came from. Trust is built by verifiability, not by tone.

Permissions respected

The assistant only retrieves what the asker is allowed to see — your existing access rules, enforced at search time.

Knowledge stays current

Ingestion pipelines keep the index in step with your documents as they change — no stale snapshot quietly rotting.

The gaps become visible

Questions the assistant can’t answer are logged. You learn exactly which knowledge is missing or undocumented — often the most valuable output of the project.

Scope

What’s included.

  • Source audit — where knowledge lives, what’s current, what’s contradictory
  • Ingestion pipeline — documents, wikis, and records, refreshed automatically
  • Permission-aware retrieval — access rules enforced per user, per document
  • Answer interface — in the tools your team already uses
  • Unanswered-question log — the gap report your documentation should be closing
  • Evaluation & launch — accuracy tested on your team’s real questions before rollout
FAQ

Questions about this service.

Our documents are a mess. Is that disqualifying?
It’s the normal starting point. The source audit separates what’s usable now from what needs cleanup, and the pilot runs on the usable set while cleanup happens in priority order — the unanswered-question log tells you what to fix first.
How do you handle confidential documents?
Permission-aware retrieval: the assistant searches only within what each user may access, PII is detected and handled per your policy, and every answer is audit-logged. In regulated settings this is designed with your compliance requirements in the Blueprint.
Can it capture knowledge that isn’t written down?
Partly — structured interviews with your experts can be transcribed into the knowledge base as source documents. The assistant then answers from them like any other source, with the expert’s name attached.
What does it integrate with?
Your existing document stores and the chat or intranet tools your team already opens daily. Specifics are settled in the Blueprint, against your environment.
