Systems Integration & Automation

The average SMB runs its business across a dozen systems that don’t talk — so people become the integration layer, re-typing orders into finance, exporting lists into email tools, reconciling by eye. We connect the systems you already run, so data is entered once and flows everywhere it’s needed, with the failures visible instead of silent.

What You Get

Enter it once. Use it everywhere.

The re-typing stops

Orders, customers, invoices, inventory — synchronized between the systems that share them, on a schedule or in real time as each flow needs.

Errors surface, not hide

Every integration monitored with reconciliation checks: when systems disagree, you get an alert with the record attached, not a surprise at month-end.

No rip-and-replace

Your current systems stay. Integration is almost always cheaper than migration, and it makes the eventual migration — if one comes — far easier.

Automation with judgment

Approvals and exceptions route to people; the routine 95% flows untouched. Automation that handles the edge cases by bothering a human is the kind that survives.

Scope

What’s included.

  • Systems & flow audit — what talks to what today, and where people bridge the gaps
  • Integration build — APIs, webhooks, and scheduled syncs between your core systems
  • Data mapping & rules — field-level definitions, conflict and precedence rules in writing
  • Monitoring & reconciliation — dashboards and alerts on flow health and record mismatches
  • Exception workflows — human review queues for the records that shouldn’t auto-flow
  • Documentation — every flow diagrammed; your team can support and extend them
FAQ

Questions about this service.

Our systems have no APIs. Can they still integrate?
Usually — via database views, file exchanges, or vendor export mechanisms, in descending order of elegance. The audit establishes what each system actually permits before anything is promised.
Why not use a no-code automation tool?
For simple, low-volume flows, you should — and we’ll set it up and hand it over. Custom integration earns its place at volume, with money or compliance attached, or when reconciliation and alerting need to be real.
What breaks first in integrations?
Silent drift: a field changes meaning in one system and the sync keeps flowing wrong data confidently. That’s why reconciliation checks and mismatch alerts are in the base scope, not an add-on.
Can integrations feed our reporting and AI?
That’s the compounding benefit: integrated, reconciled operational data is exactly what trustworthy reporting and grounded AI assistants consume. Many clients sequence integration first for that reason.
